Blackjack is more than luck — it's a game of skill. At RA888, you can put basic strategy to full use at classic, multi-hand, or Live Dealer tables. Start from just RM5 and experience the real thrill of 21.
Blackjack is the only casino game where your skill genuinely influences the outcome. Unlike slots, which rely entirely on the RNG, or baccarat, where hand choices are limited — in blackjack, every decision you make at the table can shift the house edge significantly. Players who apply basic strategy correctly at RA888 can bring the house edge down to as low as 0.5%.
At RA888, we offer a wide range of blackjack variants to suit every type of player – from those just learning the basics to experienced players looking for a greater challenge at the VIP tables. All tables use cards shuffled randomly by a certified RNG system, while Live Dealer tables use real physical card shoes dealt live in high definition.
One thing that makes many Malaysian players feel right at home with blackjack at RA888 is the flexibility of betting limits. You can start as low as RM5 per hand to practise and get a feel for the strategy, then raise your stakes as your confidence and skill grow. VIP tables offer limits of up to RM10,000 per hand for players looking for higher-stakes action.

Blackjack has long been regarded as the most compelling casino game for those who enjoy a mental challenge and strategic play. Unlike other games that rely almost entirely on luck, blackjack gives players the ability to influence the outcome through smart decision-making. This is the main reason the game remains a firm favourite among Malaysian online casino players at RA888, from major cities like Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya to states like Selangor, Johor and Penang.
The core objective of blackjack is straightforward — get a higher card value than the dealer without exceeding 21. If your hand goes over 21, you bust and lose automatically, regardless of the dealer's hand. Numbered cards are worth their face value, face cards (Jack, Queen, King) are worth 10, and an Ace can count as either 1 or 11 — whichever benefits your hand at that moment. An Ace paired with any 10-value card on the first two cards is a "Blackjack," which pays 3:2 at RA888.
One of the biggest advantages of playing blackjack at RA888 over other platforms is the wide range of actions available. Beyond the basic Hit and Stand, RA888 players can use Double Down to double their original bet and receive exactly one additional card – ideal when you hold a value of 9, 10 or 11 and the dealer is showing a weak card. Split allows you to divide a pair of same-value cards into two separate hands, each with a matching bet – a particularly effective strategy with a pair of Aces or 8s.
One question new players at RA888 frequently ask is about the Insurance option. When the dealer's first card is an Ace, you are offered the chance to buy insurance for half your original bet. If the dealer goes on to get Blackjack, the insurance pays out at 2:1 – meaning you break even. Statistically, however, insurance is a bet with a high house edge, and most blackjack experts recommend against taking it unless you are actively counting cards.
The Live Dealer Blackjack tables at RA888 are a world apart from standard digital tables. Watch a real dealer shuffle and deal cards live via high-definition video stream. The live chat feature lets you interact with the dealer and fellow players at the table, making the whole experience feel remarkably close to a real casino floor. VIP Live tables take it further with added privacy and higher betting limits — ideal for serious players.
On the payments side, RA888 makes everything straightforward by fully supporting Malaysia's local digital payment ecosystem. You can deposit using Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay, DuitNow, FPX Maybank2u and CIMB Clicks. All of these methods process deposits in real time, so there's no waiting around before you can sit down at the RA888 blackjack table. For withdrawals, regular members typically receive their funds within 1 to 2 hours, while VIP Gold and Diamond members can expect withdrawals processed in under 30 minutes.
Blackjack players at RA888 will also find that every session automatically contributes to their VIP Rewards program. Every RM20 wagered at the blackjack tables earns 1 VIP reward point. For players who play consistently, these points add up surprisingly fast and can help you reach VIP Silver or Gold status sooner than you might expect. Once you hit Gold tier, the 10% weekly cashback you receive can be put straight back into your next blackjack session as additional bankroll.
One thing Malaysian players particularly appreciate about RA888 is the platform's transparency in displaying RTP and house edge information for every game. You can review this information in the details of each blackjack game before selecting a table. This lets you make more informed decisions and choose the variant that best suits your playing style. That level of openness is one of the key reasons Malaysian players trust RA888 as their online casino of choice.
